Connie Kis Andersen Named Top Female Artist

CKA 1bw3Connie Kis Andersen, whose single, Gone Wishin’ from the CD of the same name, was released in November 2005 in the US, has been honored as the Best Western Australian Country Female Vocalist for 2006. The award came at The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival in Australia. 

The singer/songwriter was born in Denmark and raised in Australia. Connie Kis not only writes intimate songs with haunting melodies. (She penned 12 of the 15 cuts on her CD) Andersen is an accomplished musician who plays guitar and banjo-mandolin. She is represented in the US by Rod Harris of jenn-rod artist directions ( http://www.jenn-rod.com ).
