Volunteers Needed At The 2006 Australian
Festival!

celebrate our 10th Year in Music City, USA
July 3, 2006 The Australian
Festival is
about to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in Nashville and we are
expecting our largest attendance ever at
Centennial Park this September. We need your help to make this event a great success.
There is a host of areas and needs and we are
asking everyone to really step up and help us make history. An
estimated 300 volunteer hours are required for this years event. When you become a
volunteer at the Australian Festival you join Team Australia as we work together to put on
this great international event in Music City, USA!
Volunteers are required in
all festival areas
from Wednesday September 13 all the way through to Monday September 18 when
the festival finishes:

and entrance booths...

Staffing for
G'Day Cafe & The Festival Shop...

Music and
hospitality chaperones and staffing...

Kids Down Under
& G'Day Mates supervisors...

Mascots, stage
hands, product handling...

All Festival volunteers
will be provided with a festival tee shirt
with drink and food provided to any volunteers that work at least 2 * two hour
shifts concurrently. Founder Peter Beare will be heading up the volunteer
program - and is available for any questions you may have. The Australian
Festival has been built on people power from our core volunteers. We are so appreciative of the hours and efforts of
each and every volunteers in our
first nine years. This year we are all being asked to step up to the big
leagues as the Australian Festival consolidates itself as one of
Nashville's premier cultural events while continuing to hold the title of
Australia's largest festival celebration outside of Australia!
